Psychology Services

The NDIS provides funding and support for persons diagnosed with psychosocial disabilities.

What is a Psychologist

A psychologist is a health care professional who can help by talking with you and listening to your concerns, providing you with counselling and therapy according to your needs. They can support you to deal with any mental health issues that you may be experiencing, such as depression or anxiety, and to develop better coping skills to improve your overall mental wellbeing.

Psychologists also work with children and young people to support their psychological and social and emotional wellbeing, to assist with learning and behavioural issues, for example in cases of autism spectrum disorder.
